About Us
Cara Rescue Dogs is a voluntary community group with charitable status. Formed in 2011 by a small group of people in Co. Laois with a shared love of animals.
We rescue dogs and place them in a loving foster home until we can find them a forever home.
Since its inception, Cara Rescue Dogs has re-homed thousands of dogs and we have many dogs and puppies in our care at any one time.
While the centre of our operation is in the Laois area, our fostering network extends throughout most of Leinster.
